Applauds committee for ceremony
Dear Editor,
The
Veterans Remembrance Committee deserves applause for their "Voice from
the Stone" Observance ceremony on Veterans Day at the Union County
Courthouse. Their dedicated work to recognize area Veterans who have served and sacrificed is truly appreciated.
The
committee should also be commended for honoring the eight brothers and
one sister of the Francis A. Drumm family of Marysville, who have
served in our armed forces. As a military spouse and a military mom, I
know the sacrifice families make when their loved ones serve.
I
appreciate the Remembrance Committee for the hard work they put into
the Veterans Day Observance and for honoring the Drumm family.
It was a wonderful and touching ceremony and made me very proud of my hometown.
